Thanks to its natural composition, xanthan gum is one of the best natural gelling agents available. It allows to modify the viscosity and texture of homemade cosmetic products (gels, shampoos, milks, creams, etc...), and is mainly used to create aqueous gels.

Usage percentage
0.1 to 0.5% of the total weight of your preparations, to stabilize your emulsions
0.2 to 1% of the total weight of your preparations, to make low-viscosity gels (especially for the face)
1 to 2% of the total weight of your preparations, to texturize or obtain thicker gels
